As you do your spring cleaning, please consider saving gently used items for our sale. We will begin collecting items the week prior.
Guidelines:
- Clean, gently used items in good working condition
- No items requiring repair or laundering
- Upscale clothing and accessories welcome
- No shoes or furniture
- Jewelry will be saved for the Christmas Market
Baking contributions are also needed.
Volunteers will be required for the event, and a sign-up sheet will be posted next week.

Gathering Place
We will be discussing Hildegard of Bingen: The Woman of Her Time by Fiona Maddocks (300 pages), which explores the life of a remarkable 12th-century German abbess who was declared a saint and Doctor of the Church in 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI.
For this meeting, we will discuss the first nine chapters, with the remainder to be covered in June (date TBD).

Upcycled Jean Jacket Workshop
The Upcycled Jean Jacket workshop held last Monday was a successful event. Participants proudly modelled their colourful creations by the end of the day.
A total of $1,105.00 was raised through registration fees, which will support the Harmony Music Lounge Program (choir and piano lessons).

Painting Exploration Sessions
Carolyn Sevigny will be offering four sessions in painting exploration using water-based media.
- When: Thursdays in May
- Time: 5:30–7:00 pm
- Cost: Suggested donation of $10 per session
No experience is necessary—these sessions are designed to encourage creativity, experimentation, and joy.
A materials list and sign-up sheet are available in the main hall. Participants may attend one or all sessions.
