Coming events/ Activities
1. PWRDF – Sunday, March 10th is the 4th Sunday in Lent (also known as Mothering Sunday) and PWRDF will be hosting a free-will offering event after the service to help raise money to enable us to buy a water carrying donkey for a village in Kenya. Please join us for tea, coffee and fresh scones with cream and jam in the parish hall.
Hope you bring your decorated bonnet or hat for the occasion.
2. Irish Stew Supper – Sunday, March 17 at 5 pm Served with root veggies, roasted potatoes and soda bread! Vegan option available. Dessert, coffee and tea. Suggested donation $20/plate. Kids under 12 eat free.
3. Making Palm Crosses
When? Friday, Mar. 22 at 1pm
Where? At St. Thomas’ Parish Hall
Come and join us in making Palm Crosses for our Palm Sunday service!
4. Rummage and Bake Sale
Fri. April 19th 5 – 7 pm and Saturday April 20th 9 am – Noon
Please keep those special treasures for us. We will be collecting items the week before the sale, additional information will be available closer to the date and pickup of items can be arranged.
Volunteer schedule will be posted closer to date of the sale.

5. ARTWORK
The embroidery pieces hanging in the hall were created by Linda Grimson and the three paintings close by were painted by Joan Turner, a former member of St. Thomas’. These are all for sale for the amounts noted with proceeds going to St. Thomas operations. (Price could be negotiated) If interested, please see Bonnie Dobson or call her at 613-966-9757
