Coming events/ Activities
1. Tuesday Night Discussion Group will resume Oct. 1 at 7pm.
The Tuesday discussion group reviews the Gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday. Father Brad provides context for the gospel. Questions are designed to engage the group in discussion . All perspectives, thoughts and views are welcome with the intent of learning from each other on how this reading applies to us today.

3. Estate Planning Workshop- Tuesday, October 8 – 2- 4pm
The Diocese of Ontario is holding Estate Planning workshops in this area and St. Thomas’ will be hosting one on October 8th.
Local investment and legal experts will host presentations on estate planning, minimizing tax burdens, changes to the Capital Gains Tax and provide an opportunity for questions and answers.
Cost to attend is $25 (to be paid on arrival) with proceeds to benefit Lunch by George at St. George’s Cathedral.

4. ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST DINNER AT THE LUTHERAN CHURCH
516 Victoria Ave, Belleville (next to Eastside SS)
Come one! Come all! Bring your appetites and your lederhosen to OKTOBERFEST at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on October 4 from 4-7 pm. Enjoy a traditional Oktoberfest Sausage and Sauerkraut Dinner with cabbage rolls, spatzle, hot German style potato salad, red cabbage, rye bread or buns, with homemade pie for dessert.
Adults: $20.00, Age: 6-12 $8.00, Children under 6: no charge. Costumes are welcome!! Takeout is available. Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is fully wheelchair accessible, with free parking.
Volunteer support provided by Belleville International and BAPS.
5. GLEANERS FOOD DRIVE – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2024
Please see poster(on bulletin board) for information on volunteering to canvas door to door and sorting food to help with the food drive. Please leave non-perishable food item on your doorstep by 12noon for pick-up.
