Coming events/ Activities

1. SUNDAY BRUNCH – Today, December 10th after the 10:30 am service. Come and join us! Everyone is welcome!
There will be Cranberry Chutney for sale today at the Brunch as a fundraiser.

2. Lessons and Carols: Sunday, December 10th at 5 pm

Start the Christmas season by listening to scripture readings and singing along with our St. Thomas’ Church Choir!

3.CHRISTMAS SHARING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

St. Thomas’ members are once again doing a wonderful job donating funds for this years Christmas Sharing campaign and we hope if you haven’t already made a monetary donation you will consider making one soon.

We are also in need of volunteers to help with packing boxes on Monday December 18th at 9:00am and delivering parcels on Tuesday December 19th between 10:00 am and 11:30 am.

4. Amnesty International Human Rights Day, Dec. 10 Belleville Public Library 1-5 pm
Sign a card, write a letter or sign a petition in support of people whose human rights are being violated.

5. St Thomas Book Club Topic- The value of keeping the Sabbath- December 10
Book club is meeting next on December 10th, and all are welcome. The book we have chosen is titled Sabbath as Resistance: Saying NO to the CULTURE OF NOW by Walter Breuggemann. Plan to attend the church’s brunch that day for food and fellowship right after the 10:30 am service, and then join us in the church library from 1:00 to 2:30 pm for our discussion. 6. On Wednesday, January 10, 2024 there will be a workshop for the ‘counting’ teams at 10am. This will be a session where questions can be asked and a discussion of some of the form changes to make the paperwork a little easier.
