Coming events/ Activities
Annual Vestry Meeting – Today, Feb. 23 after the service. There will be refreshments before the Vestry meeting begins.

2.Election Day – Thursday, Feb. 27th
St. Thomas’ is a polling station for the election and we remind people that the Parish Hall is not accessible during this time (8am – 11pm) unless you are voting. Thank you for your understanding.
3. Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Supper, Mar. 4 – 5pm Volunteer sign-up sheets are next to kitchen door. Your help would be appreciated.
4. Ash Wednesday Service will be held on March 5th at 5:30 pm.
5. World Day of Prayer 2025–
World Day of Prayer (2025) Service, March 7 at 2:00 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. The service, with the theme “I Made You Wonderful“ (Psalm 139: 1-18) was prepared by the World Day of Prayer Committee of Cook Islands and has a beautiful “island thread” throughout its Readings and Music. Indigenous Maori music is included. The service is being co-hosted by Women’s Groups of Holy Trinity Lutheran and St Thomas Anglican, with participation of Father Brad Beale, & music leaders Glen Thompson and Jean Galbraith.
6. Community Visions & Networking Quinte (CVNQuinte) supports adults with developmental disabilities across the Quinte Region and they are announcing the launch of its “Services with a Twist”.
One of the new programs is CVNQuinte ADVENTURES where themed retreat experiences will be offered to adults with developmental disabilities such as: fishing trips, food tours, sports outings, etc
There is information posted on the bulletin board regarding the great initiative plus ways that you can support.

7.Congratulations to 2 of our parishioners who received the King Charles Coronation Medal for “demonstrating the very best of what it means to be Canadian. They have given their time, their energy, and their talents to making our communities stronger, safer, and better for future generations. 1.Lieutenant-Colonel Annette Snow: A decorated Canadian Armed Forces officer and passionate Girl Guides mentor, empowering young women through leadership and adventure.
2. Margaret Bell: A dedicated community volunteer for over 62 years, supporting healthcare, charity, and local organizations.
